Unaware of the history of Nemesis, Byleth asks the two about him. Surprised by her decision, Seteth warns Rhea to reconsider, as if someone like Nemesis were to appear again, Fódlan would be consumed by war. The next day, Archbishop Rhea thanks them for dealing with the thieves and protecting the Sword of the Creator, and in reward entrusts Byleth with the sword. The thief attempts to use the sword to defend themselves against Byleth however, Byleth is not only able to easily overpower the thief, but also awakens the sword's power, despite the missing Crest Stone. The leader of the thieves opens the coffin of Seiros, and removed the Sword of the Creator from it. Many years after Nemesis died at Tailtean, the newly appointed professor of the Officers Academy, Byleth, is tasked with subduing thieves in the Holy Mausoleum during the Goddess' Rite of Rebirth. ![]() There, Nemesis was confronted and slain by Seiros in single combat. In Imperial Year 91, the armies of Nemesis and Seiros clashed at the Tailtean Plains. He possessed the Crest of Flames and wielded the Sword of the Creator. Nemesis was the leader of an army that opposed Seiros during the War of Heroes that included the Ten Elites. 6 Choose Your Legends Placement History.As Kang stands ready to be the main threat of the MCU going forward, he stands as the best opportunity for Iron Man's incredible MCU success story to be repeated in the comics. Instead, it might be a better idea for Iron Man's goals to improve humanity being things that could actually improve humanity with Kang the Conqueror as his foil. Saturation of that idea will ruin the character. With Kang as the new main villain for Iron Man, writers could maybe stop trying to do " Iron Man's worst enemy is himself" stories over and over again. Kang seeing Iron Man's futurist ideals as a personal offense to his warring ways and vowing to sabotage them almost writes itself. Whereas writers could never really nail down a solid characterization for the Mandarin that could justify him being Tony's main villain, Kang could be an evergreen nemesis for Tony. This is even something Brian Michael Bendis already noted during his Avengers run. He is a repudiation of Tony's futurism philosophies, a rejection that mankind can process and improve through technology. Most importantly, Kang is the antithesis of what Iron Man is: a man from a utopian future who goes back in time to wage war as a hobby.
